Hickton Family Funeral Directors (Cradley Heath) First established in 1909 by Joseph Eley Whitmore Hickton, the business has since been passed down the generations, secondly to William “Bill” Hickton, then to current owner Trevor Hickton along with his three children Ross, Greg and Jodie. The building still stands in the original location since the 1920’s. As it had been for over 100 years part, of the original building was demolished and a brand new state of the art office building and mortuary was developed and built in 2014 and integrated on to the already standing chapels of rest and garage facilities. The building serves as the registered head office for the business, all the Hickton family are based here along with a large long standing team of dedicated and experienced staff. Based at this office, the head office and busiest of the business are the Hickton family, along with long standing employees Mandy Cutler and Gareth Watkins. Our fleet of vehicles and central deceased mortuary, along with all operational funeral staff are based here covering the local area including the Sandwell and Dudley boroughs.

The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.
1. This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.
2. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
