We are thrilled to announce that Oliver Black has joined us as an investor and the non-executive board of The Farewell Guide.
Oliver is the founder of several businesses in his own right, reaching a £10million+ annual turnover and eventually exiting from My Family Care. He is hugely experienced in strategic growth and online market development which will be of huge value to the team.
As the first person in the UK to move the childcare market online with the launch of Tinies in 2000, Oliver became the UK's largest supplier of childcare and nursery staff with over 40 sites. In 2006, he and his brother Ben founded My Family Care, which became the leading provider of work and family solutions. The company was eventually sold to Bright Horizons in 2019, where Oliver served as MD of the work and family business for the UK and Ireland.
Oliver is a fantastic addition to our board and will be a valuable member of The Farewell Guide team and our story.
